Hostinger Plans and Price in India (2026): Which Plan Should You Buy?

The plans that matter for an Indian business

Hostinger changed its India line-up in September 2026. The Business plan no longer exists. It has been replaced by a plan called Unlimited, and the website and storage allowances moved on every tier. If you are reading an older comparison that still talks about Business, it is out of date.

These are the four shared and cloud plans on sale today:

A note on the word "unlimited". Hostinger markets the Unlimited plan as unlimited websites and mailboxes, but the figure it publishes to its own partners for the same plan is 50 websites, around 100,000 visits a month and 600,000 files and directories. Cloud Startup is 100 websites, roughly 200,000 visits and 2,000,000 files. Those are the numbers to plan against, and they are far more useful than the word unlimited.

The two lines that decide most purchases are backups and visits per month. Weekly backups on Single and Premium mean a bad plugin update can cost you six days of work. Daily backups start at Unlimited. For any site that takes enquiries or payments, that is the line worth paying to cross.

What you actually pay (with GST and renewal)

Hostinger shows a per-month figure but bills the entire term up front and adds 18% GST at checkout. These are the list prices we saw on 19 September 2026 on the 48-month term. Hostinger runs promotions constantly, so confirm on the checkout page before you pay.

Two things to notice. First, the intro price applies only to the first term, which is exactly why the 48-month option is the right one: it locks the low rate for the longest window Hostinger allows. Renewal is where the real cost sits, and it lands three to four times higher. Second, with code VGRAPLE (our partner code, 20% off a first purchase for new customers) the with-GST figures drop to roughly INR 3,127, INR 6,751, INR 11,283 and INR 27,142.

Price at every term length

This is the table most comparisons leave out. The same plan costs wildly different amounts per month depending on how long you commit, and the 1-month option carries no discount at all and no free domain.

Term totals before GST: 12 months costs INR 1,908 (Single), INR 2,628 (Premium), INR 4,548 (Unlimited) and INR 9,588 (Cloud Startup). 24 months costs INR 2,856, INR 4,296, INR 7,176 and INR 16,776.

Put plainly: on Unlimited you pay INR 379/month for one year or INR 249/month for four. Buying 12 months to "try it" costs 52% more per month and you will face the renewal price three years sooner. The 30-day money-back guarantee already covers the trial, so there is no reason to take the short term.

Which plan for which site

One simple site and the tightest possible budget. Single, at INR 69/month. Be clear about what you give up: one website, 10 GB, weekly backups, no CDN, no priority support and no free domain at any term, so add roughly INR 800-1,200 a year for the domain itself.

A 5-page company site, a portfolio, a doctor or lawyer profile site. Premium. Three websites, 20 GB, a free domain for the first year, free SSL and the Mumbai data centre. Backups are still only weekly, so we add our own offsite backup on client sites that sit here.

A 10-20 page WordPress business site with a blog, lead forms and an Elementor or similar theme. Unlimited. This is the plan that replaced Business and it is the one most of our client sites sit on. The step up from Premium is only INR 100/month but it buys NVMe storage, daily backups with easy restore, a CDN, AI tools, priority 24/7 support and four times the monthly visit allowance (roughly 100,000 against 25,000). That is a far bigger jump than the old Premium to Business step ever was.

A WooCommerce store, a membership site, a booking system, or anything expecting more than 100,000 visits a month. Cloud Startup. Dedicated CPU and RAM instead of a shared pool, a dedicated IP, priority support and no neighbour-noise slowdowns during a sale. It is also INR 250/month cheaper than it was in August, which makes it much easier to justify. If a client asks us for one answer with no follow-up questions, this is the plan we name.

You run 5 or more client sites. Agency Hosting. Each site gets an isolated environment and its own access, which matters the day a client wants to leave or hand a site to another developer.

How to add your GSTIN to a Hostinger purchase

If you are buying as a registered business, put your GSTIN on the invoice so you can claim the input credit. Doing it after the fact is painful, so do it before you pay.

1. Add the plan to your cart and go to the checkout page.
2. Under billing details, set the country to India and choose the company or business account type.
3. Enter your registered business name, billing address and GSTIN in the tax fields shown.
4. Check that the 18% GST line appears in the order summary with your GSTIN against it, then pay.

If you have already paid as an individual, contact Hostinger support through hPanel chat and ask them to reissue the invoice against your GSTIN. They can usually do it within the same billing period, and it is far less certain once the period closes.

Things included on every plan

What is not really free

The "free email" is Hostinger's own mailbox, not Google Workspace. Premium gives you two mailboxes per website free for the first year and Unlimited gives you unlimited mailboxes, also free for the first year only. If your team lives in Gmail, budget for Workspace separately. The free domain is one year and then renews at Hostinger's standard domain price. And "unlimited" websites, mailboxes and bandwidth are all subject to a fair usage policy, which in practice only bites on the shared plans if a site suddenly takes tens of thousands of visitors.

The rest of the cloud range

Cloud Startup is the entry point, not the whole tier. If you outgrow it, these are the other two, on 48-month terms:

All three carry 100 websites. The jump from Startup to Professional buys RAM and storage rather than a different kind of hosting, so it is a decision to make when a store starts to slow down, not on day one.

What about VPS, and is cloud the same thing?

No, and this is the most common mistake we see. Cloud is managed: Hostinger runs the server, you run the site, and you get dedicated resources inside hPanel. VPS is an unmanaged virtual server where you own the operating system, the security patches and any control panel you install. VPS is also not cheaper. The cheapest VPS costs more per month on a 12-month term than Cloud Startup does, and it hands you a server to administer. Unless you have someone who can run Linux, buy cloud.

Business email, if the free mailbox is not enough

The mailbox bundled with hosting is free only for the first year. Hostinger's paid email is priced per mailbox on a 12-month term:

For a three-person team that is roughly INR 1,400 a year on Starter, well under Google Workspace. If your team already lives in Gmail and Drive, pay for Workspace instead; if email is just an address on your domain, this is the cheaper answer.

Our recommendation

If you are choosing today for a business that plans to be around in four years, buy Cloud Startup on the 48-month term through our partner link. At INR 599/month it costs less than Business did in August and it removes every resource question for the life of the term. If the budget does not stretch, Unlimited on 48 months is the best value on the list and the plan we put most client sites on. Skip Premium unless the site is genuinely brochure-only, and treat Single as a personal-project plan rather than a business one.
