Hostinger Email
Every Hostinger hosting plan includes Hostinger Email (1 GB mailboxes on the free tier, more on paid tiers). It is a separate mail service, not mail on your web server, which is good: a website problem does not take your email down. Webmail is basic but works, IMAP and SMTP work with Outlook and phones, and SPF/DKIM/DMARC are set up from hPanel. For a sole proprietor or a shop with an info@ address it is entirely adequate and costs nothing extra. We set it up as part of the free hosting setup.
Limits: 1 GB fills up in a year of attachments unless you upgrade; no shared calendar or docs; no India data residency.
Zoho Mail
Zoho is Indian-owned, stores data in India, and its free plan (up to 5 users, 5 GB each, web access only) is the best free business email available. Paid plans add IMAP, more storage and the Zoho suite (Calendar, WorkDrive, Meeting, and a path into Zoho CRM and Books, which many Indian SMEs already use). INR billing with GST invoices.
Limits: webmail and apps feel less polished than Google; the free tier has no IMAP, so phones use the Zoho app.
Google Workspace
If your team already thinks in Gmail, Drive, Docs and Meet, Workspace is worth the price. Best deliverability, best spam filtering, best mobile apps, and every SaaS tool integrates with it. Business Starter is about INR 160 per user per month on annual billing in India.
Limits: cost scales per user; data is global; no INR-first support.

Whatever you choose, set these records
SPF, DKIM and DMARC on the domain's DNS. Without them, Gmail and Outlook increasingly send your mail to spam or reject it. Hostinger, Zoho and Google all show the exact records to add; hPanel adds Hostinger's automatically. Moving email between providers
Use an IMAP migration tool (Zoho and Google both offer one; Hostinger has an import) while the old mailboxes are still live, then switch MX records. Do not switch MX first.
